Mathieu is a tax lawyer and graduate of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. He also has a master's degree in tax law from HEC Montréal.
Prior to joining Barricad, Mathieu practiced in the business and tax law groups of provincial law firms. His experience allows him to provide a comprehensive strategic approach covering all aspects related to corporate and tax reorganizations.
On a daily basis, Mathieu advises on tax and estate planning, international taxation, and tax transactions. He also represents clients in litigation matters with federal and provincial tax authorities and with respect to commodity taxes.
